To the north of Walnut Creek in the East Bay, Pleasant Hill was once ranch land in the center of the Diablo Valley. Now it combines small-town charm with a vibrant downtown. Transportation
Pleasant Hill has great connections due to its location at the center of the I-680 corridor. Oakland, San Francisco and San Ramon are all commutable. With access to three nearby BART stations (Pleasant Hill/ Contra Costa Centre, Walnut Creek and Concord) getting out and about is a breeze. There is a shuttle bus that runs between the BART stations for added convenience. The town is approximately a 27 minute drive to downtown San Francisco.
